Japan plans to brew 'space beer'

TOKYO (AFP) — A Japanese brewery Tuesday said it was planning the first "space beer," using offspring of barley once stored at the International Space Station.

Researchers said the project was part of efforts to prepare for a future in which humans spend extended periods of time in space -- and might like a cold beer after a space walk.

I don't think I have to expound on how many memes are transfered to visitors in public facilities...

The American Chemistry Council promoting brand awareness (Fast Company Magazine, June 2008) while visually associating themselves with the American efforts of Apollo, the Space Shuttle, and NASA. Their branding campaign of "Essential", the first and last words of the memetic transmission used as the engine and caboose - depending on how the recipient stores information - either by direction (the engine) or by tailing association (the caboose), or both.

NBC Dateline presented their Top 10 UFO sightings on Sunday, May 18, 2008. Of course they had the skeptics speak up but more importantly, the host alluded many times that the skeptics' responses left us wanting to believe more in the witnesses of the events than not. Memetics? Information being driven into the brains of the viewers, traveling along the pathways of doubt while leaving memetic pathway disassemblers that trigger doubting ones own doubts, allowing new pathways to form.

This attractive and well spoken memebot starts the story off by mentioning the recent Phoenix Lights (2008) as a hoax but then leads the viewer into a lengthy report about UFO Drones and two 30+ year police veterans hired to prove or disprove these recently viewed craft.

What's important to note is that the journalist begins by bringing up alien contact... shrugs it off along with the viewer as she reiterates her audience's [probable] predisposition on the topic (a hoax) - thereby confirming with her audience that she's just one of us... she's on "our side"... but then leads us on a very open minded, objective investigation by credible, retired first-responders.
